Former President Donald Trump posted a video on his social media platform, Truth Social, Thursday evening following his conviction on 34 counts of falsifying business records in the Manhattan District Attorney’s Office criminal case.

In the black-and-white video, Trump’s voice can be heard saying, “This is the final battle. With you at my side, we will demolish the deep state. We will expel the warmongers from our government. We will drive out the globalists; we will cast out the communists, Marxists, and fascists. We will throw off the sick political class that hates our country.”

He continues, “We will rout the fake news media. And we will liberate America from these villains once and for all.” The audio appears to be pulled from one of his rallies.

The 35-second video concludes with a call to action, encouraging viewers to “JOIN PRESIDENT TRUMP’S FIGHT FOR AMERICA” by texting “TRUMP” to a specified number.

Throughout the weeks-long courtroom battle, Trump maintained that he was the target of political persecution. This claim seemed to gain traction when President Joe Biden’s campaign held a political event outside the courthouse this week as he runs for a second term in the White House.

Trump’s conviction marks the first time a former U.S. president has been found guilty of a felony. He is set to face sentencing in July, just before the Republican National Convention.

Many supporters of President Trump have seen this verdict coming for a long time and, while many were shocked by its actualization, most who have seen the Democrat attempts to keep him out of the White House by any means necessary have only become more loyal to a president who they have now made a martyr.
