Halperin’s claims, shared on X and during a Newsmax appearance, state that Biden will not endorse Vice President Kamala Harris, suggesting an open convention for the Democratic nomination.

Influential Democrats, such as former House Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-CA), Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer (D-NY), and former President Barack Obama, have reportedly urged Biden to allow a new candidate to take the lead. Biden spokesperson TJ Ducklo told Fox News Digital’s Brooke Singman that the report is “entirely inaccurate.” Another aide emphasized, “The President is more committed than ever to winning this election.”
