Trump Raises $12 Million At Silicon Valley Fundraiser Hosted By David Sacks

Presidential frontrunner Donald Trump raised an impressive $12 million at an unprecedented Silicon Valley fundraiser on Thursday night. The event, co-hosted by tech entrepreneur David Sacks and his wife Jacqueline, along with venture capitalist Chamath Palihapitiya, saw tickets per couple going for $500,000 and individual tickets priced at $300,000.

The sold-out fundraiser, held at Sacks’ home Broadcliff in Pacific Heights, was attended by notable figures in the entrepreneurial and venture capital space, including the Winkelvoss twins and crypto leaders. Sen. JD Vance (R-OH) introduced Trump, who was then welcomed by Sacks. Attorney and RNC Committeewoman for California Harmeet Dhillon shared that Trump was “relaxed, happy, and cracking jokes about AI.”

The event showcased the growing support for Trump in Silicon Valley, despite his recent conviction in New York on 34 felony counts of falsified business records related to payments made to his attorney. In the past few years, Trump supporters in the tech industry have been more vocal about their backing of the former president.

The successful fundraiser comes as Trump has consistently raised $141 million in May, narrowing the cash gap with President Joe Biden and the Democrats, who often hold star-studded Hollywood fundraisers with celebrity elites.
