Trump Blasts Biden’s Failed White House Correspondents’ Dinner

President Joe Biden hardly brought the building down at the annual White House Correspondents’ Dinner, and his Republican rival let him know about it. Former President Donald Trump absorbed the procession of weak jokes and then blasted the liberal celebration as a disaster.

Posting on his Truth Social platform, Trump wrote, “The White House Correspondents’ Dinner was really bad. Colin just BOMBED, and Crooked Joe was an absolute disaster. Doesn’t get much worse than this!”

The former president had no use for such travesties while he was in the Oval Office. Trump passed on these events, which are designed for leftist media types and Democratic presidents.

This year’s dinner was held at the Washington Hilton. Protesters occupied the streets outside to rally against the White House’s position on Israel’s war with Hamas terrorists.

Biden basked in the adulation of the corporate media and took the opportunity to skewer Trump. The president claimed he is running for reelection “against a six-year-old,” though he trails in virtually every poll.

Comedian and Saturday Night Live regular Colin Jost attempted to entertain the left-wing audience with one-liners that poked fun at the 45th president.

But it was Biden’s night, and his diatribe quickly descended into a rant against his GOP opponent.

The Democrat told the faithful, “The defeated former president has made no secret of his attack on our democracy. He said he wants to be a dictator on Day One and so much more. He tells supporters he is the revenge and retribution.”

Biden then asked the media, “When in God’s name [have you] ever heard of another president say[ing] something like that? And he promised a bloodbath when he loses again. We have to take this seriously.”

The “bloodbath” reference was blatantly dishonest. Trump very clearly told an Ohio audience recently that the U.S. auto industry would suffer a “bloodbath” if Biden wins another four years and continues his war on gas-powered vehicles.

Despite his age being a major negative in his run for a second term, the 81-year-old Biden attempted to downplay the issue. He will be 86 at the end of his second term if he wins reelection.
