Trump Cracks Down On Deep State With Security Clearance Revocations

President Donald Trump has revoked the security clearances of key Deep State operatives, including former National Security Advisor John Bolton, former Director of National Intelligence James Clapper, and former CIA Director John Brennan. The executive order is part of Trump’s aggressive effort to protect Americans from an intelligence apparatus that has been weaponized against conservatives and his administration.

The order states that Bolton’s unauthorized publication of sensitive information in his 2019 memoir posed a serious national security threat. Trump’s administration argues that the former officials have used their clearances to push false narratives and disrupt the America First agenda.

Supporters of Trump’s decision have praised it as a bold stand against an intelligence community that has repeatedly targeted conservatives, including Trump himself. Many see it as a necessary step to prevent further abuse of government power and restore trust in national security operations.

In addition to Bolton, Clapper, and Brennan, Trump’s executive action revokes the clearances of dozens of former intelligence officials who falsely labeled Hunter Biden’s laptop as Russian disinformation in 2020. Their claims, which were later debunked, have been widely criticized as part of a broader effort to mislead the public.

Bolton has pushed back against the decision, claiming it is politically motivated. However, Trump has defended the action, stating that these individuals no longer serve the country and should not retain access to classified information that could be misused.

Trump’s first day in office has been marked by a series of sweeping executive actions designed to restore accountability and transparency. Among them are efforts to deregulate the economy, bolster border security, and root out corruption within the federal government.
