Trump: Biden Destroying Our Country With Open-Border Policies

During a visit to the U.S.-Mexico border on Thursday, former president and current GOP primary frontrunner Donald Trump condemned President Joe Biden’s open border policies that have left Americans living in terror due to the influx of illegal aliens, many of whom bring drugs and crime into their neighborhoods.

While getting a tour of the border sector in Eagle Pass, Texas, Trump spoke with federal law enforcement agents, Texas National Guard members and state officials — where he learned that authorities cannot believe what is happening and the extent of the problems.

Trump gave a speech during his visit, where he warned of the consequences of Biden’s disastrous border policies — pointing out that millions of illegal aliens have been flooding into the U.S. with near impunity and causing crime to skyrocket.

“What he’s done to our country is he’s destroying our country,” the Republican frontrunner said of his likely 2024 opponent. “We were just talking before, the general was saying, he can’t believe what’s happening. They can’t believe it’s so sad. Last year, almost half of all ICE arrests were criminal aliens charged for more than 33,000 assaults, 3,000 robberies, 6,900 burglaries, 7,500 weapons crimes. This is all migrant crime, 4,300 sex crimes, 1,600 kidnappings and 1,700 homicides and murders. These are the people that are coming into our country and they’re coming from jails and they’re coming from prisons and they’re coming from mental institutions and they’re coming from insane asylums and they’re terrorists.”

Trump went on to explain that he hopes to reverse Biden’s dangerous border policies if he wins a second term in the White House — but warned that a lot can happen in the nine months leading up to the election and none of it is good.

That warning has already come true considering the recent spate of illegal immigrants murdering American citizens, including 22-year-old nursing student Laken Riley — who was brutally murdered by illegal alien Jose Antonio Ibarra last week.

Trump also spoke about Riley during his visit to the border.

“A beautiful 22-year-old nursing student from Georgia was barbarically attacked. She was on a morning run… she was a beautiful young woman,” he said. “I spoke to her parents yesterday, they are incredible people. They are devastated beyond belief. She was so beautiful in so many ways.”

He explained that Riley had been “brutally assaulted, horrifically beaten, kidnaped, and savagely murdered” — pointing out that she would still be alive if the Biden administration hadn’t released Ibarra into the country.

“The monster… charged in the death is an illegal alien migrant who was led into our country and released into our communities by Crooked Joe Biden,” Trump said, adding that he “took the name from Hillary because she’s no longer relevant I guess.”
