Planet Fitness Loses $400 Million Following Bathroom Controversy
Planet Fitness is facing a successful “Bud Light-style” boycott after canceling a woman’s gym membership for calling out a man in the women’s locker room, which has led to the company losing $400 million in market value.
The fitness chain’s status as a “Judgement Free Zone” has backfired. While the tagline originally meant that average and out-of-shape people would be comfortable in the gym, it now apparently means that the only people not free from judgment are women concerned about their safety in the locker room.
Planet Fitness is learning a lesson now in caving to the woke mob and putting mentally ill mens’ delusions before protecting women. Don’t let up the pressure! pic.twitter.com/N02ygRcS9W

An Alaska woman went viral last week after sharing her experience at her local Planet Fitness, where she shared an image of a man shaving in the women’s locker room. She also posted a video to X, formerly known as Twitter, talking about the incident.
The woman has since been identified as Patricia Silva.
The story went viral after being shared on X by popular account Libs of TikTok, who called out Planet Fitness for prioritizing the comfort of a man over the safety and privacy of women.
Woman in Planet Fitness claims she went into the bathroom and this man who thinks he’s a woman was in there shaving.

Silva also later revealed that a 12-year-old girl was in the locker room wearing a towel when the man began shaving.
Libs of TikTok, which is run by Chaya Raichik, shared the update from Silva, who also revealed that her membership had been canceled after she spoke out — with the company claiming that the decision was made because she took a photo of the man.
UPDATE: The woman who exposed a man shaving in an Alaska Planet Fitness women's locker room with a 12-year-old present just had her membership revoked.

Since the incident, Planet Fitness saw a $400 million drop in its market value, plummeting from $5.3 billion to $4.9 billion.
Libs of TikTok celebrated the loss in a post on Tuesday, urging Americans to continue the successful boycott.
“Whoa. Planet Fitness saw $400 Million wiped off its value since we broke the story of them allowing men in female lockers rooms and then banning the woman who exposed it. Turns out people don’t want to support companies who cave to gender pseudoscience and allow men in womens’ private spaces! #BoycottPlanetFitness Do not let up! Keep it going!” she wrote.

Planet Fitness has refused to back down from its support of radical gender ideology over the comfort and safety of women, issuing a statement confirming that it had canceled Silva’s membership and reaffirming its commitment to “inclusion.”
“As the home of the Judgement Free Zone, Planet Fitness is committed to creating an inclusive environment,” Chief Corporate Affairs Officer McCall Gosselin claimed, adding: “Our gender identity non-discrimination policy states that members and guests may use the gym facilities that best align with their sincere, self-reported gender identity. The member who posted on social media violated our mobile device policy that prohibits taking photos of individuals in the locker room, which resulted in their membership being terminated.”
