Nearly 50% Of Democrats Call Biden’s Border Crisis An ‘Invasion’
A new survey shows that nearly half of Democrats believe that “invasion” is the accurate term to describe President Joe Biden’s border crisis.
According to the Rasmussen Reports poll, 69% of Americans believe that the southern border situation is a “crisis,” while 64% believe the crisis amounts to an “invasion.”

Rasmussen Reports also asked respondents whether these issues represent a significant national security concern, to which 71% agreed and only 19% disagreed.
However, the more shocking data came when the results were broken down based on political parties. More than half of the poll’s Democrat respondents, 51%, reported that “crisis” was the accurate term to describe the state of the southern border under Biden’s leadership. Nearly half of Democrat respondents, 46%, agreed that the situation at the southern border constitutes an invasion.

From all of the videos and images of the southern border under Biden’s leadership, it is hard to see how any Americans can believe that the crisis has not escalated to an invasion. Throughout Biden’s presidency, numerous videos have depicted hundreds or even thousands of mostly military-aged males flooding across the border — often with the help of Biden’s Border Patrol agents.

It is clear that the problem has become nearly undeniable at this point, especially as prominent Democrats have been speaking out about it — with even radical leftist Al Sharpton declaring the problem to be an “invasion” during a February appearance on MSNBC’s “Morning Joe.”
“You’re getting migrants beating up policemen in the streets of New York. You’re seeing an influx of migrants all over the country that frankly have people outraged,” he said, adding: “We’re looking every day at the invasion of migrants.”

While Democrats like Sen. Joe Manchin (D-WV) believe that Biden caused this border crisis because he is “empathetic” toward the plight of illegal aliens, another Rasmussen Reports poll showed that the majority of Americans think the reason behind Biden’s open border policies is more sinister.
The polling institution explained in a post on X, formerly known as Twitter, that a survey had found that 57% of likely U.S. voters believe that the Biden administration is “encouraging so much illegal immigration” because they are trying to “create a permanent majority” of voters to keep the Democrats in power indefinitely.
Agree or Disagree? The Biden administration is "encouraging so much illegal immigration" because they want them to become voters and "create a permanent majority" for the Democratic Party.
57% of all U.S. likely voters now agree.

Regardless of whether these illegal aliens are able to vote, their mere presence in the country gives Democrats an advantage — as the census counts all individuals living in a state to allocate electoral college votes and congressional seats. According to the Heritage Foundation, this means that “a state can gain extra congressional districts and representation in Congress thanks to the presence of a large population that isn’t legally allowed to vote. Since the number of congressional seats is limited to 435, this additional representation comes at the expense of other states.”
So, whether this “invasion” is a planned event to change the makeup of the U.S. or simply terrible policies leading to terrible outcomes, it is safe to say that Americans are growing frustrated with the crisis at the southern border — which may affect Biden’s chances at reelection in November.
