Liz Truss Warns UK And Europe: Learn From Trump Or Face Economic Collapse
Former British Prime Minister Liz Truss has issued a stern warning to the UK and European Union, urging them to abandon their leftist-globalist economic policies or face financial ruin. Speaking in a recent interview with Fox Business, Truss argued that the path of high taxes, excessive regulations, and a weak stance toward Communist China is leading the West into economic stagnation and an inevitable crisis.
Truss pointed to the troubling economic conditions facing the UK and Europe, including the highest energy prices in the developed world and tax rates not seen in 70 years. “Taxes keep going up, but the revenue is not coming in, and the economies are stagnating,” she said. “Unless Europe does things differently, we will face a financial crisis.”

Highlighting the success of former President Donald Trump’s economic policies, Truss praised his focus on deregulation, energy independence through fracking, and taking a strong stance against China. “President Trump is showing the way,” she declared, warning that if the UK and Europe fail to follow suit, they are doomed to face a long-term economic decline.
According to Truss, a second term for President Trump would likely “turbo charge” the U.S. economy, which would then pressure European leaders to recognize the failure of their current strategies and adopt more effective policies. “The people of Europe and the UK are ready for change,” she said, referencing the 2016 Brexit referendum, but added that their desires have been thwarted by an entrenched political elite.
.@realDonaldTrump's victory wasn't just a win for the people over the elite.
It was a win for the US economic model over European stagnation.

Truss also reflected on her brief tenure as Prime Minister, attributing her downfall to opposition from Britain’s financial and political elites who resisted her tax-cutting agenda. Despite winning the Conservative leadership contest, party insiders ultimately forced her out in favor of Rishi Sunak, who had been rejected by voters only months earlier. “Just like America, we have an overpowered bureaucracy,” Truss stated, advocating for leaders like Elon Musk and Vivek Ramaswamy to dismantle the bloated bureaucratic structures in both the UK and the U.S.
While pessimistic about Europe’s slow progress, Truss expressed optimism over Argentina’s radical economic reforms under Javier Milei, highlighting that even the most dire situations can be reversed with bold action.
