Congressional Task Force To Uncover Hidden Government Records On JFK, 9/11, Epstein

Rep. Anna Paulina Luna (R-FL) has announced a new congressional task force dedicated to declassifying long-secret government files, focusing on high-profile cases such as the JFK and RFK assassinations, the origins of COVID-19, and the Jeffrey Epstein client list. House Oversight Committee Chairman James Comer (R-KY) appointed Luna to lead the initiative, which follows President Donald Trump’s order for the full disclosure of federal secrets.

The effort begins with the release of long-held records related to President Kennedy’s assassination. Trump’s executive order has directed intelligence agencies to prepare all remaining JFK-related documents for full public disclosure within 15 days. Additionally, documents related to RFK and Martin Luther King Jr. must be reviewed within 45 days.

During a press conference, Luna expressed skepticism over past investigations into Kennedy’s death, pointing to inconsistencies in the official narrative. “Based on what I’ve been seeing so far, the initial hearing that was actually held here in Congress was faulty in the single-bullet theory,” she said, adding that she believes there was a second shooter involved in the assassination.

The FBI has already uncovered 14,000 pages of material on the JFK case, but many records remain classified. Luna and Comer have sent letters to government agencies requesting access to withheld documents, signaling that the task force will push for full transparency.

Beyond the assassination files, the committee will investigate documents related to the 9/11 terrorist attacks, UFO encounters, and Jeffrey Epstein’s connections to powerful figures. Luna has stated that the goal is to provide answers on issues that have long remained hidden from the public.

Trump’s declassification order has set a deadline for intelligence officials to disclose these records, with the task force overseeing the process. Lawmakers expect the hearings to feature expert testimony from individuals who were involved in the investigations being examined.
