Biden Removes Unused Border Wall Segments To Auction Off

The Biden administration is auctioning off unused border wall materials, raising concerns that the move is intended to sabotage President-elect Donald Trump’s plans to resume construction when he takes office.

According to the Daily Wire, border wall sections left untouched throughout Biden’s term are being transported from sites in Arizona and sold through GovPlanet, a government auction site. The starting bids for the steel bollard sections begin at just $5.

Whistleblowers within Customs and Border Protection revealed that the materials are being moved quickly, with up to half a mile of wall removed daily from locations including Tucson and Nogales. The wall pieces are reportedly being hauled to Pinal Airpark in Arizona, where they are sold to private buyers.

“They just started taking all the wall that was not used, which is still totally good and usable, and they started taking it northbound,” a whistleblower told the Daily Wire. Videos show trucks carrying the materials away while rows of wall sections sit in auction lots.

Trump’s promise to restart construction on the southern border wall helped secure his electoral victory. Critics argue that the administration’s actions are not only wasteful but also undermine the mandate given by voters who supported Trump’s policies.

As auctions continue, the removal of the materials has reignited debate over border security and the Biden administration’s handling of the immigration crisis, which saw millions of illegal crossings over the past four years.
