Biden Administration’s Cybersecurity Failures Leave Americans Vulnerable
The Biden administration’s lackluster approach to cybersecurity has left Americans more exposed than ever to digital threats. As cyberattacks become increasingly frequent and devastating, the federal government’s response has been tepid, allowing criminals to thrive in a digital world where personal data is more valuable — and vulnerable —t han ever before.
Recently, nearly 3 billion personal records, including Social Security numbers, were compromised in a massive breach. The data, stolen by the hacking group USDoD, was taken from a Florida-based organization responsible for safeguarding some of the nation’s most sensitive information. The stolen data didn’t just vanish into the ether—it was sold on the dark web, a shadowy part of the internet where illegal transactions flourish.
Under the Biden administration, cyberattacks have not only increased in number but also in sophistication. The consequences of these breaches are severe, with stolen information being used to commit crimes, empty bank accounts, and even create digital replicas of individuals. Despite the growing threat, the administration has done little to bolster digital security, leaving Americans’ personal data at the mercy of cybercriminals.
As November approaches, this issue should be front and center. The administration’s failure to protect our digital borders is as concerning as its inability to secure our physical ones. With Kamala Harris’s deep ties to Big Tech, there’s little hope that cybersecurity will improve if she becomes the next president. Instead, Americans may find themselves even more vulnerable as their privacy is sacrificed for political gain.
