Trump Claims Major Lead Over Harris, Clinton Whines About ‘Distressing’ Future

President Donald Trump recently shared at a Las Vegas rally that he’s “leading by so much” against Vice President Kamala Harris. Trump told his audience that his support is growing to the point that he’s shifting his campaign focus to states usually seen as solidly Democratic. He mentioned that states like Arizona, Nevada and Michigan are leaning his way as Election Day draws closer.
Trump also argued that Harris’ campaign is performing poorly. He claimed Harris is “imploding,” even comparing her difficulties to those President Joe Biden faced previously. Trump told his audience, “We can’t have her as president,” and vowed that under his administration, America would become “bigger, better, bolder, richer, safer and stronger than ever before.”
He further explained that he believes a larger lead would help prevent any “cheating” in the election process. Trump asserted that if his campaign maintains a significant advantage, opponents would have less motivation to interfere, which he described as a “double-edged sword.”
Meanwhile, former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton expressed dismay at the possibility of Trump’s return to the White House. In a recent CNN interview, Clinton described it as “truly so distressing” that Americans would vote for Trump again. She warned that his potential presidency is “un-American.”
Comparing Trump to former President Richard Nixon, Clinton emphasized that Trump’s behavior raises alarms about the future of democracy — not the behavior of Democrats during the 2020 election. She urged Americans to vote for a leader who respects democratic values, saying, “We need a president who won’t cause us to worry every night.”
