Despite being physically assaulted and requiring medical treatment, she expressed sympathy for her attacker, suggesting the woman might have been suffering from past abortion trauma. This capacity for compassion toward someone who just assaulted her stands in stark contrast to the left’s endless portrayal of pro-life advocates as hateful or uncaring. Who demonstrated more compassion in this situation? The woman who resorted to violence, or the victim who responded with understanding?

“I intervened to protect my wife, and we immediately called 911,” Antao told Live Action.

The truth is that most pro-life advocates are motivated precisely by compassion – for both the unborn and for women who are so often victims of a predatory abortion industry. But don’t expect to hear that perspective on CNN or MSNBC. It doesn’t fit their narrative that abortion is healthcare rather than the ending of a human life.
