Pizzeria Employee Viciously Attacked By Pit Bull After Confrontation With Owner

A New York City pizzeria worker is in critical condition after being savagely attacked by a pit bull outside Roma Pizza in Manhattan. The incident happened Monday night after the worker asked Tyshaun Watson, the dog’s owner, to take his unleashed pet outside.

Watson reportedly responded by launching a violent assault on the worker, stepping behind the counter to throw punches before the fight spilled out onto the street. Witnesses say that’s when the unleashed pit bull began its attack, biting the worker relentlessly while Watson continued to stomp on him. A co-worker who witnessed the scene said, “The dog was on him, tearing him apart. Watson didn’t stop until he thought the man was dead.”

Even more disturbingly, Watson allegedly scolded his dog afterward, saying it wouldn’t be fed because it didn’t “finish the job.” Following the attack, Watson walked back into the pizzeria and waited for police to arrive. The other employees, fearing further violence, fled out the back of the store and locked the doors from the outside, trapping Watson inside until police arrived.

Video footage captured the arrest, showing Watson with a bite wound on his arm, likely caused by his own dog during the chaos. The victim was rushed to a hospital, where he remains in critical condition but is expected to survive. Authorities took the pit bull into custody and are currently deciding whether the animal will be euthanized.

Watson faces serious charges, including attempted murder, as the investigation into the horrific incident continues.
