Donald Trump Jr. Attacks Kamala Harris’ Border Policies And Election Security
Donald Trump Jr. has launched a scathing critique of Vice President Kamala Harris in an op-ed for Fox News, accusing her and the Democratic Party of deliberately failing to secure the southern border to impact the upcoming elections. He argued that the Democrats’ approach prioritizes non-citizens over Americans, jeopardizing the integrity of U.S. elections.
Trump Jr. criticized Harris’s role as “border czar,” asserting that her lack of effective action has exacerbated the border crisis. “Led by Vice President Kamala Harris, they have undermined our country at every turn, welcomed the invasion at the border and encouraged non-citizens to cancel the voice of Americans,” he wrote.
He highlighted Harris’s minimal engagement with border enforcement, noting that she has only visited the border once and has not spoken to the Border Patrol chief. Under her watch, more than 40% of released migrants have disappeared, and nearly 10 million illegal entries have occurred since President Joe Biden took office.
At a rally in Georgia, former President Donald Trump echoed these concerns, blaming Harris for the deaths of Americans caused by illegal immigrants. He cited the case of Laken Riley, claiming that Harris’s policies allowed the perpetrator to stay in the country.
With the election drawing near, Trump Jr. emphasized the importance of the Safeguard American Voter Eligibility (SAVE) Act, introduced by Texas Rep. Chip Roy (R). The bill aims to prevent illegal aliens from registering to vote by requiring proof of citizenship and expanding state access to federal databases.
Trump Jr. criticized existing laws as inadequate and called for more robust measures to protect election security. He pointed to ongoing legal battles in states like Vermont, Arizona, North Carolina, and New York City to keep non-citizens from voting. “Democrats have a clear plan: allow law-breaking illegal aliens to overrun the border and remove barriers to the ballot box,” he asserted, urging volunteers to join Protect The Vote to combat election interference.
As the election approaches, Trump Jr.’s critique of Harris underscores the ongoing debate over border security and election integrity, highlighting the sharp divisions between the parties on these critical issues.
